Experimental study of the thermal conductivity of cesium vapor
Abstract
Heat conductivity data for cesium vapor are obtained (and tabulated) at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1100 K and pressures from 0.00068 to 2.47 atm. A correction is introduced for the temperature jump at the gas phase/solid phase interface at low pressures. The heat conductivity of cesium vapor is plotted vs pressure for the isothermal curves of 800, 900, 1000, and 1100 K.
