The prospects of computer design of electronic circuits

The paper evaluates the key importance of automated design of electronic circuits by means of computers for the future development of electronics. The wider application of computers to the analysis and synthesis of circuits is contingent primarily on the direct collaboration of the designer with the computer. The article states additional user viewpoints as well as formulates the conditions for a wide application of the methods elaborated above in the electronics industry.
