Prototype digital electronics for processing tachometric information
Abstract
An inertia wheel system for three-axis stabilization of geostationary satellites and its associated digital electronics is discussed. A theoretical study is presented on the realization of a rotating mobile kinetic moment in a plane based on two kinetic moments produced by inertia wheels rotating in one direction (wheels in V configuration). The constraints on defining a system for processing the associated tachometric information are analyzed. A solution is given, and a breadboard logic circuit was realized.
