The effect of the thermal state of an asynchronous machine on its characteristics
Abstract
The effect of the thermal state of a low voltage asynchronous machine of closed air cooled design on its characteristics is examined. Variation in the air gap during heating of the machine is evaluated. The effect of the thermal state on additional losses and additional torques and the effect of the variation of the thermal state of machines on the power characteristics were studied.
