Grounding systems
Abstract
Many Air Force facilities, consisting of diverse electronic equipments, subsystems, and systems, may be located in a single room or distributed over large areas. When interconnected, many incompatible signals may be present. Since the correct operation of complex electronics facilities depends upon the control of unwanted interaction between signals, the proper grounding of a system becomes imperative. In this respect, this report attempts to clarify grounding procedures to be used in Air Force facilities, subsystems, and systems for the purpose of precluding unwanted interaction and interference within facilities and between equipments.
