Diversity reception of orthogonal signals in the case of unknown white noise power
Abstract
The paper presents invariant laws for the diversity reception of equally probable orthogonal signals in incoherent and Rayleigh channels under the assumption that the energy spectra of the Gaussian white noise present in the channels are unknown. The method of Chernov's boundaries is used to estimate the probability of erroneous reception.
