Approximate spectrum analysis of large antenna arrays
Abstract
The paper examines difficulties connected with the analysis of antenna arrays with a large number of elements, when the mutual interactions of elements are described by systems of Kirchhoff equations. The discrete Fourier transformation is used to analyze the arrays and to calculate radiation patterns, taking account of the fact that the system of Kirchhoff equations for linear and plane equidistant arrays use a Toeplitz matrix.
