Differential distortions in a forced tracking heterodyne
Abstract
On the basis of generalized transfer functions, differential distortions in forced tracking heterodynes of the second, third, and fourth orders are computed. Isolated circuits or band filters are used as filters. The results show that as the order of the heterodyne increases, so do the differential distortions, but they can be minimized in any specific case by a proper choice of certain parameters.
