Nonlinear theory of electromagnetic wave propagation in dimensionally quantized films
Abstract
The authors derive an approximate equation for the field in a system consisting of a strip line in which a dimensionally quantized film is located. Only TEM waves can propagate in the film. The propagation of a low-frequency signal and the propagation of a high-frequency signal are analyzed in turn. It is shown that in such a system it is possible to obtain waves with a broad coherent spectrum and, in particular, stationary video-pulse solitons.
