Minicomputer analysis of multidipole plasma Langmuir probe characteristics
Abstract
A simple method which can be programmed on a minicomputer to evaluate the Langmuir probe characteristics of multidipole plasma is discussed. Typical Langmuir probe traces of an argon plasma at high and low neutral pressures are analyzed. Computer plots of the technique are shown to be a very close fit to the corresponding experimental probe traces.
