Generators of powerful nanosecond pulses for the excitation of semiconductor emitters of light
Abstract
The paper describes generators of pulses with a duration of 2-20 nanosec and an amplitude of 3-12 A with a load of 1 ohm designed for the excitation of semiconductor lasers and light emitting diodes. The generators are realized on the basis of avalanche transistors with a bounded space charge region. Diagrams are presented of a simple generator circuit and of a generator circuit with an autotransformer output.
