Self-compensation of errors in gyrostabilizers
Abstract
Drift of gyrostabilized platforms due to inequality of the parameters of kinematically coupled gyroscopes under the effect of harmonic angular and linear perturbations is studied. It is shown that if a gyrostabilized platform is such that the input axes of its gyro units rotate around an axis collinear to the output axes of the gyroscopes, it will not have any drift relative to two axes.
