Method for determining the dynamic characteristics of strongly nonlinear oscillating systems

A phase trajectory method is used to determine the dynamic characteristics of a strongly nonlinear mechanical oscillating system with one degree of freedom. Emphasis is on investigation of the characteristics of conservative and nonconservative forces, when the latter depends on velocity.
