Ionic conductivity in the sodium gallates
Abstract
The gallium analogs of the sodium beta-aluminas show excellent properties for use as solid electrolytes, exhibiting high values of ionic conductivity and a low value for the activation energy. Substantial increases in the ionic conductivity of the sintered ceramics are possible with optimized samples or with phase stabilizing additions such as lithia and magnesia.
