Transport and distribution mechanisms of the phonon energy in a onedimensional structure in the case of deterministic and stochastic external effects
Abstract
An investigation of deterministic external effects is conducted, taking into account the dynamics of the finite disturbed linear chain with free ends, the energy structures under the influence of periodic forces, the consideration of a thermal contact, the anharmonic disturbing location, the excitation of an Einstein mode by periodic collisions, and the chain in the case of periodic collisions at both ends of the chain. Important concepts from the theory of stochastic processes and an example for the system reaction in response to external periodic forces with fluctuating frequencies are discussed in connection with a study of stochastic external effects. Attention is also given to the excitation of an oscillator by stochastic collisions, a statisticalmechanical model regarding the effect of a temperature difference on a onedimensional multiparticle problem, and a test of the model.
