Some self-simulating problems for the unsteady boundary layer
Abstract
In the present paper, numerical results are obtained to the following three problems for a compressible fluid. The formation of a boundary layer on a semi-infinite plate impulsively started in a compressible fluid at rest; the problem of a magnetic boundary layer on an impulsively started plate for small and large magnetic Reynolds numbers; and the formation of a boundary layer behind a shock wave impinging on a semiinfinite plate.
