The 1975 Palomar supernova search.
Abstract
Eleven supernovae were discovered at Palomar in 1975. They are listed in Table I. Observations are described of a blue eruptive object, 1137.6 + 4615, which appeared to brighten by about 5.5 magnitudes in March. The object showed a continuous spectrum at maximum light and possible features on lowresolution spectral scans obtained when it was at magnitude 20. It is conjectured that 1137.6 + 4615 is a quasar.
