Development work and application studies concerning a dry dynamically tuned gyroscope
Abstract
The current state of the art regarding the development of gyroscopes with a high accuracy is examined and a brief description is presented of the principles of operation in the case of the dynamically tuned dry gyroscope. An investigation is conducted concerning the disturbing effects which can affect the operation of the dynamically tuned gyroscope. Statistical error drifts and their origin are considered. A description is given of the design and the characteristics of a two-frame gyroscope which was developed by a firm in West Germany.
