Analogies between electromagnetism and gravitation - Hypotheses about the structure of the vacuum
Abstract
The vacuum is considered as a medium in which certain corpuscles or a certain radiation are propagating in all directions with isotropic propagation characteristics. It is thought that the energy spectrum of these particles is, in all probability, very broad. Analogies between electromagnetism and gravitation are listed in a table and the nature of the electric and the gravitational field is examined. Attention is given to the nature of the forces to which material objects located in gravitational and electric fields are subjected.
