An advance in the processing of holograms
Abstract
A new process is outlined for the production of bleached silver image holograms. This paper discusses a process that leaves phase holograms with the low noise and scatter previously only associated with amplitude holograms. Much larger image volume can now be recorded with high efficiency and contrast due to the improved image quality and reduced noise. The basic improvements are due to development in concentrated Neofin and the use of a carefully constituted mild bleach agent.
