Gas ionization on the axis of a circular waveguide
Abstract
Gas ionization in a cylindrical waveguide by means of the E(01) mode is investigated. The possibility of generating a pulsed discharge concentrated at the axis is demonstrated. The experiments are carried out for the case of zero magnetic field and the case of a strong axial magnetic field.
