Logarithmic Terms in the Density Expansion of Transport Coefficients. II. Gaseous System
Abstract
An explicit general expression is derived for the logarithmic term in the density expansion of transport coefficients of a gas. It is also shown that the collision processes contributing to the logarithmic term determine the behavior of the memory function associated with the onebody distribution function in the time region longer than the duration time of a binary collision and shorter than the mean free time.
