Results are reviewed for interferometric studies of the pivots of a large transit instrument, which were carried out in each of six years. It is shown that the configuration of the pivots was only slightly altered after polishing and that the use of a variable bearing produced only insignificant variations in pivot radius corrections. The pivot radius corrections and collimation corrections obtained in the different years for the large transit instrument are divided into four periods, corresponding to the times when the pivots rested on brass bearings, when boxwood bearings were substituted, after polishing, and after the bearings were rotated. These corrections are tabulated for the 'East' and 'West' positions of the transit instrument.
