Nanosecond pulses from a hydrogen fluoride laser
Abstract
A simple experimental setup for generating hydrogen fluoride laser pulses in the range from 25 to 3 nsec is presented. Dependence of pulse width and peak power upon laser gas pressure and mixture is discussed. Some details about the spectral resolved time behaviour of the multiline pulses (2.6-3.0μm) are given. Operation with DF has been performed too. Experiments with an amplifier stage are described.
