Kinetic equation of high-intensity heat and mass transfer
Abstract
A system of kinetic equations for intense heat and mass transfer in a porous capillary body, involving filtration mass transfer, is derived by averaging the equations of intense heat and mass transfer, without recourse to any assumptions concerning the constancy of the heat and mass transfer coefficients and means of linking the material with the ambient medium. The resulting system of coupled kinetic equations describe the heat flow to the body and the mass flow from the body (including its filtration component). A new filtration-mass-transfer criterion is proposed.
