Characteristic impedance of dielectric-filled slotted coaxial transmission line
Abstract
The paper presents a method for determining the impedance of slotted dielectric-filled transmission lines of semirigid coaxial cable type. In the region of greatest impedance variation, a method for the conformal transformation of the slotted coaxial line to microstrip geometry is used, while a matched exponential function is used for the remaining part of the line. Transmission lines of the type examined can be used as the basis of wideband microwave baluns.
