X-Ray Bursts

J. H. Swank, R. H. Becker, S. H. Pravdo, J. R. Saba and P. J. Serlemitsos, Goddard Space Flight Center, report observations by OSO 8 of four 2-20 keV x-ray burst sources, as shown below. C denotes the peak count rate (in units of the Crab), N the number of bursts observed, Delta-T the intervals between bursts and Delta-t the decay time. The positional uncertainty is generally several degrees.
