Synthetic-aperture processing for side-looking airborne radar /S.L.A.R./ using C.C.D. and S.A.W. components
Abstract
A processor using a baseband CCD data store and an IF SAW chirp filter is shown to offer a realistic alternative to optical or digital SLAR processing. Range sorting and pulse averaging can be done within the store while the complex correlation for many range cells can be accomplished using a single SAW filter.
