Planning of the interferometer antenna
Abstract
The design of the radio interferometer antenna for satellite orbit determination, is described. The antenna array was designed with a Chebyshev amplitude distribution in two planes and has an abnormally large sidelobe suppression of 43 dB in the main focal plane notwithstanding its small size. Multipath effects were reduced by a system of concentric scattering fences.
