A mathematical model of flow with combustion - Its nature, application and prospects of development
Abstract
The general character of mathematical models of flow with combustion is presented in the paper. The problems of flow aerodynamics and of heat and mass exchange occurring in it have been described, drawing attention to the effects of turbulence and radiation which cause the most difficulties in formulating the model. Applicable numerical methods of approximation and solving of the differential equations of mass, momentum and energy balance have been described. The possibilities of application and the prospects of development of mathematical models of flow with combustion have been given.
