Light and radial velocity observations of classical cepheids.
Abstract
Fifteen Classical Cepheids (TT Aql, Aql, RT Aur, RX Aur, Cep, X Cyg, SU Cyg, W Gem, Gem, T Mon, Y Oph, AW Per, S Sge, T Vul, and U Vul) have been observed photometrically (UBVR) and spectroscopically during 19701971. A variation of Hertzsprung's method is used to match light and radial velocity curves accurately in phase. Trends in phase lags as a function of period and color are discussed.
