Incompressible laminar entrance flow in a circular sector duct
Abstract
The authors analyze the laminar incompressible flow in the entrance region of a straight duct with a circular sector cross section using a new analytical approach that employs polar coordinates and the stretching transformation. Numerical analysis is discussed and some results are presented for a specific example of duct parameters, showing the developing nature of the flow.
