Examination of hydraulic conduits with nonlinear terminal resistance and entrained gases
Abstract
A study was conducted to experimentally and analytically examine the effects of a nonlinear hydraulic resistance for a vertical transmission line terminated by an orifice and excited by a side branch flow pulsar. The added attenuation in the line created by uniformly distributed gas bubbles entrained in the liquid was also investigated. Results are discussed.
