An overview discussion of propagation effects of nuclear environments on VLF-LF communication systems
Abstract
It is the purpose of this brief overview to bring out the general features of long wavelength propagation at VLF and LF frequencies, how nuclear environments can degrade the normal communications capability which these systems provide, and the consequences of remaining uncertainties in predicting the degree of degradation expected under worst-case conditions.
