A procedure for calculating and interpreting curves for the radial distribution of atoms in molten threecomponent substances
Abstract
Several models of the structures of molten three component systems are considered: quasieutectic, statistical distribution of atoms model, and polystructural. Analytical expressions are given for the area beneath the first maximum on the curve for the radial distribution of atoms, for several variations of the polystructural model. The example of molten InGaAg and BiCdSn eutectics is used for proving the possibility of evaluating the nature of atomic ordering in molten three component substances by verifying the models considered.
