Multistep adaptive algorithms for stabilizing the atmospheric entry of a spacecraft
Abstract
Roll-stabilization algorithms for parabolic re-entry velocities, adapted to digital computers, are examined. Particular attention is given to one-, two-, and three-parameter schemes with linearly varying or discontinuous changes of the control moment at each step.
