Microwave terrestrial transmission system parameters as they affect video requirements
Abstract
Television signal distortions and transmission requirements are discussed as they are affected by the characteristics of modern terrestrial microwave relay systems. Methods of carrying the accompanying sound program multiplexed with the video signal are examined. These parameters are addressed in context with the proposed EIA Standard RS-250( ) which defines, sets limits, and gives methods of measurement for them.
