National Electronics Conference, 31st, Chicago, Ill., October 6-8, 1975, Proceedings. Volume 30
Abstract
New technology seminars are considered, taking into account speech processing, recovery and rollback strategies, optical communication systems, computer networks, a computer performance evaluation, the management of large development projects, synchronization in large time-division networks, the management of software development, new technologies in the local telephone plant, and questions of switching maintenance. Other topics discussed are related to the selection and training of engineering managers, the improvement of programming productivity, new device developments, intelligent terminals for communications systems, communications theory, telephony power systems, biomedical instrumentation education, control and display in modern communications systems, multiplexing of digital signals, mass storage systems, and the application of microprocessors.
