Waveguide components for millimeter-wave communications at 40-90 GHz
Abstract
Basic characteristics of waveguide components for the 40 to 90 GHz frequency range constructed with the aid of electroforming and photoetching techniques are summarized. Circulators, waffle-iron filters, band-pass and band-stop filters, and a flexible waveguide are described. Included in these descriptions is a novel band-pass filter with harmonic rejection function, designed for 4 GHz operation for scaling into the millimeter wavelength region.
