Recent advances in binary-programmed electronically-tunable bandpass filters of the 'Flauto' type
Abstract
An outline is given of the application of microwave techniques in the development of high-selectivity bandpass filters. Advances reported are related to the design of a second-order high-power bandpass filter with high-speed electronic tuning. The filter contains two resonators. Attention is given to the use of solid-state devices (PIN diodes) and to novel microwave measurement techniques which utilize computer assistance.
