An inverse electromagnetic problem of a heterogeneous anisotropic plasma
Abstract
A solution for an inverse problem of a temporal spatial system of hyperbolic equations of first order describing electromagnetic wave propagation in a heterogeneous anisotropic plasma is presented. Coefficients of the set of first order hyperbolic equations which are directly connected to the parameters of the medium are sought under the assumption that those coefficients are solely dependent on the spatial variable. The characteristics of the set under study are straight lines and are in agreement with the characteristics of wave equations.
