New techniques for controlling data flow during both the record and replay phases of airborne data acquisition
Abstract
A method of data acquisition system programming is described that was developed to give great versatility in programming at a small cost in equipment complication. Means of identifying and recovering the data which has been recorded and details of a specific acquisition system that applied the method are also presented. The multiplexing switch control system proposed is simple to program and imposes a minimum of constraints on the user. System control or housekeeping information is kept separate from the multiplexed data, enabling optimization of the replay process.
