Time-domain filters - Principles and applications
Abstract
Time-domain filters have been under development at Southwest Research Institute for the past ten years. Various types for different applications have been designed and constructed. All were for the purpose of removing low duty-cycle interference such as automobile ignition noise, lightning noise, loran or radar pulses, and power switching noise from receivers or from communications systems. This paper defines the time-domain filter and discusses two examples of the practical application of time-domain filter principles.
