Laminar Newtonian fluid flow in a rigid channel with specified flow rate
Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of laminar hydrodynamically developed pulsatile flow with sinusoidal flow rate. Predictions are presented for the instantaneous velocity profile and Fanning friction factor for several values of parameter equal to the square of the half-width of the channel times pulsation frequency divided by kinematic viscosity.
