Electronically controlled filters and multicouplers
Abstract
This report covers the third period of the program and describes the design, fabrication and test of three Electronically Tunable Filters. These filters cover the frequency range of 30-80 MHz at an RF power level of 25 watts. The primary application of the filter is to use at the output of an FM Radio to help reduce the transmitter noise floor. A description of the design requirements are given, a system description provided test data presented on the three filters, and recommendations for improvements in future models discussed.
