The calculation of ephemerides of earth satellites for tracking instruments with four-axis mountings
Abstract
In satellite tracking with laser rangefinders, photometers and cameras, it is necessary to have tracking capability on a wide segment of the trajectory arc, and to assure a high angular resolution along the line of sight of telescope-satellite. For these reasons the satellite ephemerides must be determined with high accuracy. A method is developed for calculating ephemerides for satellites with small circle parameters, observed with instruments with four-axis mountings.
