Fringe localization in acoustical holographic interferometry
Abstract
An analysis is conducted of fringe localization conditions in various areas of acoustical holographic interferometry, taking into account double-exposure methods, multiple-beam procedures, the time average case, and linearized subfringe processes. Liquid surface and scanning methods are considered. It is pointed out that acoustical holographic interferometry provides a nondestructive approach to obtain photographs of the internal cracks and flaws of a material.
