Two-dimensional, axisymmetric rotational flow of a viscous fluid
Abstract
The present paper develops a solution to the problem of two-dimensional axisymmetric rotational flow of a viscous fluid with time-dependent boundary conditions. The solution is based on a suitable modification of the conventional eigenfunction approach and employs classical mathematical techniques (separation of variables). A two-dimensional fluid annulus bounded by two concentric circles characterizes the mathematical model.
