Twodimensional, axisymmetric rotational flow of a viscous fluid
Abstract
The present paper develops a solution to the problem of twodimensional axisymmetric rotational flow of a viscous fluid with timedependent boundary conditions. The solution is based on a suitable modification of the conventional eigenfunction approach and employs classical mathematical techniques (separation of variables). A twodimensional fluid annulus bounded by two concentric circles characterizes the mathematical model.
