A possibility for calculating effects of general relativity theory
Abstract
Three basic effects of general relativity are calculated in so-called isotropic coordinates with the aid of Hood's (1966) ds-squared element. It turns out that the calculations yield the same expressions as obtained by means of the Schwarzschild ds-squared element.
