Experimental determination of the pressure of saturated cesium vapors at temperatures ranging from 483 to 642 K
Abstract
The experiments were carried out by a direct static method at pressures between 15.77 and 1389 N/sq m. The vapor pressure was determined with a bellows pressure gauge calibrated on the basis of a U-shape oil pressure gauge. A review of data obtained by various investigators reveals appreciable discrepancies between these data. They differ also from the results obtained in the present experiment. Possible reasons for the discrepancies are suggested.
